that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

Enjoying the Moment

I think sometimes that we mothers often tend to forget to enjoy the moment. We can sometimes get frustrated with our little ones when there is a lot of fighting, and instead of stopping our "important" things and just sitting on the floor teaching them how to get along and enjoy one another...we tend to yell or punish. I think that we end up loosing out...our children loose out. How about when we are looking forward to something that will happen next year...maybe to be out of debt. And we spend all our time thinking about what we don't have now and what we can have then. There is another moment lost. A moment to enjoy what we do have now. A moment to teach our children to be thankful. Let's not forget to be thankful for what the Lord has done for us. Let us thank Him for what we have. Let our spirits be joyful, and let's teach ourselves and our children to really enjoy what the Lord has given us and to enjoy the moment.

Thank you Lord for all the blessings that you have given our families. Help us to be thankful for what you give us and to teach our children to be thankful.
